We had a blast at the Relay for Life! It was our first one and we plan to do it every year, it was awesome! I would recommend anyone and everyone to find one in your area, join a team and give it a try. I have learned what a viscous disease cancer is and events like this are perfect ways to raise money and support survivors as well as those who have lost loved ones to it.
The theme was Disney, and our team was Mickey & Minnie. Here are a few pics. I don't have time to write a long post though. I will write more about it but I really need to go to bed, so I'll have to save my lengthy post for another day.
We started out "Climbing for a Cure". The local college opened their rock climbing wall for an hour and a half, so we couldn't pass it up!
Brian took the challenging route and almost got his butt kicked by this green blob. He persisted and hung in there! His calf muscles were bulging and flinching though!
Paige and I took a less challenging route and while I'm glad I did it, the cyst in my left wrist immediately started to hurt. It hasn't bothered me in several years, but it still hurts right now. I won't be rock climbing any more I guess.

Brian took the boys home to go to bed, and Mom, Dad, Paige and I stayed all night! I am pretty proud, even though I went out in the hall and took a 40 minute cat nap. Next year I will try to find a sitter for Lincoln and bring Jayden's tent so Brian and I can both stay!

My Toy Story boys!
A bunch of guys from Young Mens in my parent's ward came to represent, and it was awesome! In my longer post I'll tell more about these guys, but they really were truly into it, and we were all truly touched by their spirit and support. I can't get into it right now or I'll start crying.
Alicia, the very first friend I made when we moved here from Canada in 4th grade stopped by, and we walked and chatted for a bit! Her grandparents both passed from lung cancer. She gets brownie points for coming by at 1:30 am after her shift at the hospital!

Doing Zumba at 3 am! Paige was so excited about our matching socks! Her new pajamas say "Dance until Dawn", which she thought was pretty appropriate! Super stylin'!
