After Bath Playtime

Jayden loves bathtime, and is really happy afterwards. Even though we're getting ready for bed, we take advantage of this time to play with him, because we can never get enough of his smile! Here is a video of Brian jiggling the changing mat, so you can see some of Jayden's big smiles and coos.

2 month Update

Jayden is such a happy, mellow baby! We love it when he smiles, which happens more and more often now! We can't wait for him to laugh. He still loves to be outside, and just loves to look around at everything. His red hair has faded all blond now. He was such a trooper at his 2 month appointment for his shots. He is now 22 inches (10-25%-is anyone surprised he's already short???) and 13 pounds (75%). You can really see his rolls and chunky arms in this bottom picture.

p.s. He is almost two months old and is well over 12 pounds!

Pouty Face-7 Weeks

Even though Jayden looks exactly like Daddy, he did inherit one specific trait from Mommy...the pouty face with the big lip!

It's so hard not to laugh when he does this face...Isn't he precious???

Jayden Smiling-6 Weeks

Jayden is smiling and cooing a lot more lately, and we love it! If you look in this picture you can see he has a little dimple on his left cheek, just like his daddy!

Here is a video of my dad holding Jayden while my mom is talking to him getting him to smile. When he is awake he is incredibly alert and likes to be able to look around.

He gets cuter and cuter every day!

Jayden's Blessing 9/6/2009

We blessed Jayden at church on Sunday. We are very grateful that both sets of grandparents were able to be there, as well as (almost) Uncle Mark and Aunt Destiny.

Brian gave a very nice prayer, and after church we came home and had a little photo shoot! Jayden was quite the trooper.
