More Skydiving

Here are some more skydiving pictures in case you didn't get enough earlier!

Can you say wedgie???!!! Wow Kevin!
This is me just after landing...still in shock.
What a brave trio!
Skydiving was hands down the scariest thing I have ever done. I felt like I was going to throw up the whole time (in addition to dying), but now that it's over I am glad I did it!

Skydiving in Hawaii

This video is of me, Kevin, and Paul (he's the one filming). Be sure to pause the music so you can hear!

It was the scariest thing I have ever done in my whole life! All before I kept trying to think of other things (like how pretty and clear the ocean is from up high) and then when he opened the door I started freaking out! You can hear Kevin and Paul laughing at me, and if you listen really closely you can hear they guy I jumped with say "Okay we'll go on three. Ready, one!" and then we're gone! Once I got out of the plane I was enjoying myself...but those few minutes in the plane with the door open were absolutely terrifying!

Happy Anniversary!

Wednesday the 13th is our 3rd anniversary! I can't believe it has already been 3 years! I've enjoyed every minute of it...and yes, Mom, we are still in love! Unfortunately, Brian is in China and I have our school's Open House. Not exactly how I'd like to spend the evening, but what can you do? Anyway, Happy Anniversary Brian!

This is a picture Brian sent me of the electric bike everyone uses to get around in China.

Mr. Big Ears

Ok, here's a funny story that happened at school today. This picture is of Mr. Big Ears, which I just put up today. We've been talking a lot about what to do if someone is being mean, tattling, etc. So I told them that Mr. Big Ears just loves to hear all kinds of stories and that he gets lonely sometimes because of where he is in our room. I told the kids that if they ever want to tell someone a story, or if they really want to tattle that Mr. Big Ears would love to hear it! I wasn't sure how the kids would respond, but they loved it! After recess one girl came to me and said "I just have GOT to talk to Mr. Big Ears!" And during independent reading time, several kids wanted to go read their books to Mr. Big Ears. It was a hoot! It cracked me up, and really lifted my spirits after a long week. Kids can be so funny sometimes!
