Mrs. Turner or Hannah Montana?

I recently got a speaker system in my classroom! There's a headset I have to wear that clips to my pants and it transmits to the speakers. I know I look goofy with it on (and I feel like Hannah Montana) but I am kinda starting to like having it! The kids and I have a chuckle when I have to use my loud voice because the kids get this bewildered look on their face. I don't know if they forget it's there, if it startles them or what, but it's pretty funny.

I see the resemblance of Hannah Montana, kidding. The kids would have a blast if you learned a song or two and performed it for them. You look great!!

I would love to feel like a rockstar while teaching. Let's be honest, I would love to feel like a rockstar while doing ANYTHING! I would love to hear about you breaking out into Brittany Spears in the middle of a lesson.

Interesting! Is it more effective (and economical?!) than the standard "quiet gesture" or whistle or whatever it is that they use now?
I suppose it would help some teachers avoid the inevitable laryngitis, though. =)
